Powering Sustainable EV Travel

The iNUA Collection has installed EV Charging points nationwide in a bid to offer guests a more sustainable travel experience.

As the largest regional hotel group in Ireland, The iNUA Collection is well attuned to the lack of electric charging infrastructure outside of our island’s main cities. Conscious of the limitations this can place on our guests and customers who wish to travel sustainably for business or pleasure, The iNUA Collection has decided to lead the charge.

Guests can now charge their electric vehicles while relaxing on an overnight stay, enjoying a meal at The Brasserie, or attending a meeting or conference at The iNUA Collection hotels. Electric Vehicle charging points are now available at Muckross Park Hotel & Spa, Tullamore Court Hotel, Hillgrove Hotel & Spa, and the Radisson Blu Hotels in Cork Athlone Limerick and Sligo.

As of February 2023,  plug-in vehicles accounted for 25.9% of all new cars registered in Ireland. With this initiative, The iNUA Collection hopes to relieve the “charge anxiety” of this growing segment of guests and improve guest convenience by enabling them to charge while stopped rather than stopping to charge.

This initiative forms part of The iNUA Collection’s wider sustainability programme, Caring For You, which seeks to reduce the impact of our own operations as well as the impacts of our guests.
