Transformed from its previous incarnation as a commercial bog, today Lough Boora Discovery Park offers 3 Off road Cycle Routes ranging from 6km – 15.8km, 5 Off road walking routes ranging from 3.3km to 15.8km; Slieve Bloom Mountains- 30 minutes from hotel with trails to suit all abilities, these include 21 marked trails from 1 hour to 4 hours.
The Offaly Grand Canal Greenway stretches from Edenderry in the east to Shannon Harbour in the west of the county. Bring your own bike and we will store securely or hire one locally.
