The iNUA Collection Gift Voucher Terms & Conditions
General T&C’s:
1. Validity
Gift vouchers are valid for five (5) years from the date of purchase, unless the voucher is lawfully exempt from the applicable statutory gift voucher requirements and a different validity period or specific redemption restriction is clearly stated in the voucher description or accompanying terms. The applicable expiry date or redemption period will be stated on the voucher or otherwise provided to the purchaser in accordance with applicable law.
2. Safekeeping of Vouchers
The voucher must be retained securely and presented, or the relevant voucher details provided, to the applicable service supplier at the time of redemption. Vouchers should be treated in the same manner as cash.
3. Responsibility for Vouchers
Responsibility for the safekeeping and security of a voucher transfers to the purchaser or recipient once the voucher has been issued. Neither The iNUA Collection, the voucher issuer, the voucher technology provider nor the applicable service supplier accepts responsibility for vouchers that are lost, stolen, mislaid, altered, damaged or used without the holder’s permission, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
4. Invalid or Unredeemable Vouchers
Vouchers that have lawfully expired, have already been redeemed in full, have been fraudulently altered or duplicated, or fail reasonable security or validation checks may be refused. A damaged voucher may also be refused where its authenticity, validity or remaining balance cannot reasonably be verified.
5. Monetary Gift Vouchers
Monetary or cash-value gift vouchers may be used in more than one transaction and may be used in full or part payment for eligible goods and services. Where only part of the voucher value is used, the remaining balance may be retained on the voucher and used in a subsequent transaction during the voucher’s applicable validity period. Monetary gift vouchers cannot be used to purchase another gift voucher or gift card.
6. Where Monetary Gift Vouchers May Be Used
Monetary gift vouchers may be exchanged or used in full or part payment for overnight accommodation, spa experiences, dining and other eligible goods and services at participating hotels owned by iNUA Holdings Ltd., including the iNUA Collection hotels in Ireland*, excluding Ariel House. Monetary gift vouchers may not be used for meetings, wedding deposits or wedding services. All use is subject to the terms and conditions applicable to the relevant hotel, goods or services.
7. Specific Accommodation, Experience or Service Vouchers
A voucher purchased for a specified accommodation package, meal, experience, product or service must be used for the purpose for which it was issued and in accordance with the description and conditions stated on the voucher. For example, a voucher for a “Midweek Overnight Stay” may only be redeemed against an eligible midweek overnight stay. All accommodation, dining, spa, experience and other service vouchers are subject to availability at the applicable hotel and to any restrictions or conditions stated in the voucher description.
8. Event-Specific Vouchers
Vouchers issued for specified events may be subject to an expiry date or specific redemption period where permitted by applicable law and where clearly stated in the voucher description. Where an eligible event voucher is not redeemed within its applicable redemption period and the terms of that voucher permit the remaining balance to be transferred to a Hotel Gift Voucher Card, the transferred balance will be subject to the validity period required by applicable law.
9. Supplements, Restrictions and Eligibility Requirements
Additional supplements, service-specific terms, eligibility requirements or redemption restrictions may apply to particular vouchers where these are stated in the voucher description or applicable booking terms. Such conditions may include, for example, minimum-age requirements or restrictions on redemption on specified dates, including Public Holidays. All bookings and redemptions remain subject to availability and to the applicable terms and conditions of the relevant hotel, experience, product or service.
10. Refunds and Exchanges
Gift vouchers are not redeemable for cash and cannot be refunded or exchanged solely because the purchaser or recipient has changed their mind, except where otherwise required by applicable law. Where permitted and subject to applicable law, a new or modified voucher may be issued in respect of an eligible unused or outstanding balance, subject to the applicable voucher terms and the discretion of the relevant supplier. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
11. Security and Verification
In the interests of fraud prevention and security, the voucher issuer or applicable service supplier reserves the right to contact the purchaser and/or request reasonable additional information or verification before issuing, replacing or accepting a voucher for redemption. A voucher may be temporarily withheld from issue or redemption while reasonable security or verification checks are completed.
12. Age and Legal Eligibility
Age restrictions or other legal eligibility requirements may apply to certain goods, services, facilities or experiences purchased or redeemed using a voucher. Where an age restriction applies, the person using the voucher must satisfy the applicable legal or service-specific age requirement, and proof of age or identification may be requested where appropriate. Customers are responsible for ensuring that they are legally entitled to purchase or use any age-restricted goods, services or experiences in accordance with applicable law.
