The World Cup is Coming to Ireland’s Best Match Day Bars

The FIFA World Cup has a habit of bringing people together like few other events can, and Irish supporters, a habit of religiously backing a team they have never even watched before. While the boys in green are home with us all this summer, from 11 June to 19 July, across The iNUA Hotel Collection we are embracing the spirit of the tournament with live match screenings, special food and drink offerings, and dedicated World Cup experiences designed to make the occassion a little more memorable.

Whether you’re following every game, gathering friends for the final stages, or simply looking for a lively atmosphere to enjoy a summer evening, there are plenty of reasons to pull up a chair.

More Than Just Match Screenings

Across the country, participating iNUA hotels are putting their own stamp on the tournament.

In Athlone, Marina Club Kicks brings World Cup action to the banks of the River Shannon, combining riverside views with match day atmosphere, while POMO Match Club takes over voco Belfast for the duration of the tournament.

Guests can also catch the action at Allez Les BLU in Cork, Limerick and Sligo, the Leixlip Fanzone at Springfield Hotel, and World Cup at The Court in Tullamore, with each venue creating its own take on the biggest sporting event of the summer.

While every venue will have its own personality, the focus remains the same: great food, good company and a place to enjoy the drama of the tournament as it unfolds.

The Match Day Menu

To celebrate the tournament, we will be serving a dedicated World Cup menu featuring two sharing options designed for groups. The Comfort Sharing Platter (€25) brings together spicy chicken wings, fish cakes, arancini, fries and dips, making it ideal for settling in before kick off. Those looking for something a little more indulgent can opt for the Charcuterie & Cheese Board (€27).

The collection has also teamed up with Birra Moretti for the tournament, with beer buckets available from €28, creating an easy match day option for groups gathering to watch the action.

All participating venues will offer pre-bookable tables for key fixtures throughout the tournament, giving guests the opportunity to secure a prime viewing spot, settle in with food and drinks, and enjoy the action without worrying about finding a seat at the last minute.
