Cannonball 2026 Is Coming to Cork
More than 200 supercars are taking to Irish roads this September as Cannonball Ireland 2026 returns for its annual road trip, with Radisson Blu Hotel Cork confirmed as one of the stops on this year’s route.
The convoy arrives in Cork on Sunday, 13 September 2026, giving motoring fans and families an opportunity to see an extraordinary collection of cars up close, with admission free for spectators.
Cannonball 2026 Arrives at Radisson Blu Hotel Cork
After departing Limerick on Sunday morning, the Cannonball convoy will travel south, stopping at Circle K Fermoy before continuing to Radisson Blu Hotel Cork in Little Island, where the cars are expected to arrive at approximately 1.30pm.
More than 200 supercars, hypercars and novelty cars are taking part in Cannonball 2026, with Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche, Aston Martin, Bentley and Maserati among the marques expected on the route.
The Cork stop gives spectators a chance to see the cars together at the hotel before the convoy continues on the next stage of its journey. Admission is free, making it an easy addition to a Sunday afternoon in Cork.
Cars With a Cause

Cannonball has become a familiar sight on Irish roads since the event began, although the purpose behind it extends well beyond the cars.
More than €2.28 million has been raised for Irish children’s charities to date. In 2026, Cannonball is supporting Ronald McDonald House Ireland, which provides accommodation and support for families whose children are receiving hospital treatment away from home.
The combination of fundraising and one of Europe’s largest organised road trips has established Cannonball as a distinctive fixture in Ireland’s September calendar.
A September Weekend in Cork
With Cannonball reaching Cork on Sunday afternoon, its arrival also offers a good reason to spend the weekend exploring the city and East Cork.
Radisson Blu Hotel Cork is located in Little Island, within easy reach of Cork City and well placed for exploring East Cork. Guests staying for the weekend can spend Saturday in the city or travel east towards Cobh and Midleton, before returning to Little Island ahead of Sunday’s Cannonball arrival.
For anyone travelling specifically to see the cars, staying at the hotel also puts the Cork stop directly outside the door.
