Serving Tomorrow's Hospitality

At The iNUA Collection, we believe in serving tomorrow's hospitality by placing sustainability at the forefront of everything we do. We believe in a shared value approach, by creating a positive impact not just for our hotels, but equally for the environment and communities they operate in.

Our strategy is underpinned by three pillars; improve our carbon footprint, reduce our energy consumption, and create a positive impact for the communities we operate in. These pillars are brought to life through the following key actions:

  • Water Consumption is measured and monitored on a daily basis to reduce high impact points and prevent any areas of overuse
  • Electricity Consumption is monitored on a daily basis, via a group-wide online dashboard covering over 80 meters across our hotels. The platform measures hourly electricity consumption in all key areas of our hotels' operations and when potential situations of waste arises, a text alert notifies the hotel's Maintenance Manager to ensure immediate action
  • Weekly Energy Reports are compiled by each hotel and reviewed by our Group Facilities Manager to ensure continued progress towards our targets
  • Internal Engagement initiatives, including our iNUA Environmental Manager of the Year Award, encourage all employees across the Collection to play their part
  • Energy Management Training is carried out on an ongoing basis for all Maintenance Teams and Senior Management of our hotels
  • Building Management Systems are reviewed and upgraded continuously, with temperature set points and timing schedules in place to ensure efficient cost and consumption control across the Collection
